Hi folks,

As I am experimenting with various foods and their combinations that are good to taste and low in calorie too , I have come across the very much in vogue Buddha Bowls. These are the preferred low-calorie foods because they easy to make and a single serving consists of a mix of carbohydrates, proteins and fiber that make your stomach full .

Today I would like to share with you my very first Buddha Bowl. Hope you like it!


Quinoa 1/2 cup cooked

Spinach 1/2 cup

Cabbage 1/2 cup

Tomatoes 1 cup

Curd 1/2 cup

1 Orange

Boiled egg 1

Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp

Oil 1 tbsp

Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Cut the spinach and cabbage and then boil it. Blanch this. Cut tomatoes into medium size pieces. Peel the orange. Peel the boiled egg too.

Take a pan and add 1 tbsp oil. After oil heats, add ginger garlic paste and cook till it turns brown. To this add the vegetables and sauté them. Add salt as per taste.

Cook the Quinoa in a pressure cooker until 3 vessels.

Now, take a bowl and place the ingredients as shown in the picture. To this add salt and lemon juice.

Why to prepare?

Is a complete source of carbs , proteins and fiber.

Easy to make

Makes stomach full

Low calorific.
