Especially for those who prefer going to the gym for fitness, weight training becomes a part of their regime. Weight training leads to loss of muscle mass. Hence eating protein containing foods is mandatory for them.
Today I am sharing a recipe of a protein rich food ingredient i.e Tofu. Let’s see how it goes..
Tofu pieces: 1 cup
Yogurt : 2-3 tbsp
Salt: as per requirement
Chaat masala: 1-2 tbsp
Red chilli powder: as per taste
Ginger garlic paste : 1/2 tbsp
Cumin powder : a pinch
Coriander powder : a pinch
Oil: 2-3 tbsp
Vegetables: As per choice
Cut Tofu into pieces as shown. Add yogurt , Ginger garlic paste, salt, coriander – cumin powder, red chilli powder, chaat masala and keep aside for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes take a pan. Heat remaining oil. Add the marinated Tofu pieces and cook until marinate dries. Thereafter change the side and then repeat the procedure.
I have taken small pieces of cauliflower, beans and peas. These vegetables are boiled for 5 minutes and then blanched. You may change the vegetables as per choice and availability.
Take a pan add 1 tbsp oil and heat. Add vegetables to this and then stir fry. Add salt as per need. Put this in a plate.
Place this in the same plate beside the Tofu. It’s ready to eat.
Why to make?
Low calorific, easy to make, rich in protein full of fiber.
Makes stomach full.
When to eat?
Can be eaten in lunch or dinner.
